How tall is Hogwarts? I am thinking about building a scale Hogwarts to be serviced by an N-gauge Hogwarts Expr
Q. The models I will use will be 1:160 (i.e. one foot would be modeled at 0.075 inches). The Hogwarts Express train I will be using will be in 1:148 scale (i.e. it takes .0812 inches to model 1 foot of structure). Noble says their Hogwarts model "Measures approximately 13 inches in height," but it looks like most of that is comprised of cliffs, & their Hogwarts is about 7 inches. That would make the Astronomy peak come close to looking 93 feet high next to other American N (1:160) scale structures-- and about 86 feet tall compared to the British N-gauge (1:148) train. A) Does anyone own the Noble Collection Hogwarts, and if so, how tall is just the Hogwarts portion of it? How accurate is this sculpt based on what we see in the movie and… [cont.]

A. Given the distance between the station and the castle, (right across the lake "the lake is approximately a half-mile in diameter ") depending on your preferred viewpoint, it might be wise to use diorama techniques and reproduce Hogwarts in a smaller scale than the trains in the foreground. This might preclude animating the boats. (motorised magnets under the lake?) I'm more a train modeller than a Harry Potter fan. Are the pictures here an indication?

What size waist should this man have, and he should weigh how much?
Q. -He is 6'1" tall -Large build and big boned -Weighs 295 lbs. -Chest (expanded): 51" -Waist Measure at navel: 50" -Waist Measure where he wears pants: 46" -Neck: 19 1/2" -Thigh: 27 1/2" -Bicep: 18" -Age 45 He appears heavy, but not really all that fat considering his weight in pounds. He is a White Male of British Isles ancestry. I only mention this because he tells me he read somewhere that many people of Irish, Scots, Northern English and Scandanavian origins are noted for having dense heavy bone structures. Don't know if it's true, but I thought I'd mention it to be safe. So, from these figures listed, can anyone tell me approximately how much he should weigh and where abouts would be a low body fat percentage waist size for a man… [cont.]
