A. It's a lot easier to SET a world record than to BREAK one. So go take a tennis racket, some meatballs, and a lawn chair. Then, use the racket to hit the meatballs towards the lawn chair. Do like 2, and chances are, you just SET a new world record. No one on earth would be crazy enough to think of doing that, so you would be a life time world record holder.

Who holds the world record for the most world records?
Q. If the world record holder for the most world records has the world record for the most world records count towards his world record tally, because if it does then the second place world record holder would have to get an extra world record to take the world record for the most world records, thereby gaining an extra one by virtue of the fact that he had just become the world record holder for holding the most world records?

Q. Is there a Guiness Book of World Records record for longest quarter spin and if there is what is it?

A. Name: Scott Day Date: July 09 2003 Place: London, UK Time: 19.37 Seconds more: Unbelievably we could not find a longer official coin spin than this. Want to break the record? Here are the official Guinness rules to do so: The coin has to be spun on a flat, smooth surface no larger than 3'x3'. The coins to be used are 25 coins in the United States and, in other countries, coins weighing at least 0.21 oz or 6 g and having a maximum diameter of 2.5 cm or 1 inch. There should be an official time keeper at the attempt. You only get 3 tries at it! Best of luck dude!!!

A. As far as current events go, the most babies born at one time (the Suleman Octuplets) is currently a very timely popular topic with news commentators and in editorial columns. I also heard on the news this week that some one had set a world record for holding his/her breath underwater. You might want to look at the Guinness World Records' web site.

A man holds the record of having the most world records. How many are needed to steal the title?
Q. The man had 15 records to win the record of most world records. This may be an easy riddle.
Asked by Q&A K - Fri Jul 31 17:46:33 2009 - - 8 Answers - 0 Comments
A. If the man has 15 world records, plus 1 record for having the most records - that makes 16. Someone else would need to hold 17 world records to take that title from him. Though I guess if someone else held 16 records, then they'd be tied for the most records, and the first man would lose one of his records (for having the most records) and drop down to 15. It's all in how you look at it. (is there really a world record for having the most world records?) Guinness World Records does not monitor the category of "Person with the most records" but Ashrita Furman (born September 16, 1954 in Brooklyn, New York) has set about 230 official Guinness records since 1979 and currently holds 100 records.

A. interesting point...at some point records (such as the fastest 100 yard dash) have to end, otherwise if man lasts long enough eventually somebody will reach the finish line before they leave the starting gate! what will probably happen is, our ability to record time in smaller and smaller increments will send the records back a few decimals, so that the changes will become infinitesmal...but then again, are records all that significant? as their differences become more minute, so will their importance...who cares who runs .0001 mph faster than the others?
